The Honeoye Falls-Lima Interact Club has been in existence for approximately 5 years, but was officially charted in 2006. Interact is a community service club teaching leadership skills to our youth.
On Friday, May 11th, the HF-L Interact Club hosted the first annual "Mr HF-L" Pageant in the high school auditorium. 11 contestants comprised of junior and senior boys at HF-L competed in 3 categories: Evening Wear with a question, Talent and School Spirit.
The competition was judged by 4 HF-L Teachers, our Superintendant Dr. Michelle Kavanaugh, our Mayor - Rick Milne and two television news reporters from R News and Channel 8. The night was emceed by our very own Aaron DeCarlo and Tracy Main. This evening of fun was more than just a night of entertainment, it also raised money for the Arc of Monroe County. At the end of the evening a check was presented for $654 to the Arc.
